Valentine's Day Guidelines
We are getting questions from parents about whether we will be able to distribute valentines this year, so we are sending this out a little early.
We are allocated two classroom parties per year. All grades have a Christmas Party, and typically our younger grades opt for a Valentines party and older grades, a Year End party. Valentines Day falls on a Sunday this year, so we will recognize it on Friday, February 12th.
If applicable, please communicate to parents and adhere to the following guidelines for Valentines: - If your grade level opted for a Valentine Party, please make sure it is limited to one hour.
- If any food is sent in for a party (or just a special valentines snack), please follow the same food guidelines from Christmas (individually wrapped, sent 3 days before distribution, etc.)
- Due to health and safety guidelines, valentines must be sent to the classroom no later than Monday, February 8th. They will need to sit for 3 days, and then the teacher can separate them by recipient. The teacher will distribute them on February 12th.
Thank you for understanding as we continue to navigate during the pandemic.
