The following is a consolidated list of the PD offered for flex days this summer, along with links for registration.

**Please NOTE: All math and science foundational sessions provided by AMSTI must have a minimum of 10 participants.
Summer 2025 PD Sessions
Special Education
MCS Training- Recertification. This is a one day crisis management course to obtain recertification in MCS techniques and skills.
MCS Training- Full 2 days. Crisis management course that includes deescalation skills, protection skills, object recovery skills, escorting skills, and restraint skills. This is a two day course to obtain the initial MCS certification.
Transition Training- Tammy Lee (TCS Job Coach) will facilitate this PD which is focused on the transition timeline, transition skills, student self-advocacy, transition assessments, and student-led IEPs. While this session mainly be geared towards middle and secondary special education teachers, elementary teachers and all administrators are welcome!
Tough Kids Toolbox- Training will provide a toolbox of behavior strategies and accommodations to support students with unique needs. The second half of this training will look at behavior strategies, interventions, and accommodations to assist with students that have been referred to the Problem Solving Team (PST) for behavioral reasons. This training is for all teachers, staff, and administrators!
Practical Strategies for Inclusive Teaching- This PD day designed to equip general and special education teachers, and even administrators with practical tools, fresh strategies, and collaborative insights to support all learners. With sessions led by special educators, administrators, and staff, participating will gain knowledge from colleagues who understand the unique needs of our students. From classroom management and sensory regulation to building strong partnerships with support staff, this day offers a variety of sessions to help you grow and connect with your students and families!
