Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

We will be going GOLD on Thursday, September 12th for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.  Thank you to Mrs. Wilks and our PTO for coordinating the sale of t-shirts, and to everyone who purchased them.  All proceeds will go to benefit Children's Hospital Cancer Research!

Peer Observation Schedule

As discussed in our Faculty Meeting, as a part of our PD this year, all classroom teachers will do one peer observation each 9 weeks. Remember to sign up for your first 9 Weeks peer observation on the Peer Observation Calendar. Following the observation you are asked to complete the reflection form (link is highlighted in yellow on the calendar and listed below). Be sure to email your "observee" in advance to coordinate. This is a silent observation only; there should be no conversing with the teacher or class during this time.

  • Sign up by 8:00 am on Monday (for observance the following Thursday) if you want coverage by your designated specialist.
  • If you are observing someone in a different grade level, try to schedule it during your planning time.
  • Leave your students with work to do during this time.
  • Be SURE to complete the Peer Observation Reflection Form (link in yellow on the calendar).
  • When this completed Reflection form is email back to you, immediately forward to the teacher you observed with a than you.
