ACCESS Testing for Paine EL Students

Message from Mrs. Killmeyer:

I wanted to give you a heads up that I will be ACCESS testing our Paine EL students Monday 2/26 thru Tuesday 3/5. There will be two testing sessions on these days. If you have students that will be testing, be on the lookout for calendar invites with the approximate testing times, the names of any students you may have that are testing, and any other important information for your students. Please note that testing times are approximate. This test is not timed and a testing session could go longer than anticipated or finish very quickly. If it does finish very quickly, I may try pick up students a bit earlier to finish testing earlier that day- if it’s ok. Please also know that testing days for students could possibly change. Thank-you all in advance!

Wednesday - District PD

We will have district PD with Dr. Berry in the North Training Room. Please bring all your resources to work on proficiency scales.

Thursday Afternoon - Early Release Time

We will have our MTSS Turnaround Training.

Leadership Trussville to visit PES on 3/14

Leadership Trussville will be visiting our school on Thursday, March 14th.  More information to follow soon.  Please go ahead and update the student work outside of your classrooms. Let's show all of the incredible learning happening at Paine!

ACAP Testing Schedule for PES
Please note: Our testing schedule has moved up a week from the original date communicated. We will now be testing the first week of April.

“He that loves reading has everything within his reach.” – William Godwin

“The only way to do all the things you’d like to do is to read.” – Tom Clancy

“I had a lot of dreams when I was a kid, and I think a great deal of that grew out of the fact that I had a chance to read a lot.” – Bill Gates

“I kept always two books in my pocket, one to read, one to write in.” – Robert Louis Stevenson
