Weekly News

Happy Easter!  I hope you and your family enjoyed this beautiful weekend!

Math Camp

Math Teachers in grades 3-5, you should have received an email this weekend with the final list of your students who will be participating in the math camp Monday and/or Tuesday in the Media Center.  We will provide you with Math Camp tickets (see below) first thing in the morning.  Please have participating students place their first and last name on the ticket.  They will need this for admission to each session.  We will use the ticket for students to self-reflect and for us to provide feedback regarding participation.  We will initial each session to acknowledge each student's attendance.  Once the camp is finished, we will send math teachers their students' tickets along with their completed work.

Please make sure participating students:
1) Arrive ON TIME so we can maximize learning for all students.
2) Bring ticket to each session.
3) Bring pencils
4) 4th grade students bring protractors to the geometry session.

ACAP Testing

This is our final week before testing, so please use every opportunity this week to remediate and review.

A couple of notes:
  • We will be recording our testing videos this week.  Have fun doing this!  Thank you to our amazing music teachers for helping us make this happen!  We will send our more information on when and how to show students the videos.
  • We will be on a modified schedule next week for testing.  It will be posted by mid-week.
  • Please remind students and parents in your communication that testing is next week.  Students should:  1) Get a good night's sleep, 2) Eat a good breakfast, 3) Be on time, 4) Not be checked at in the morning if at all possible.

Wednesday Collaboration

There will be no collaboration on Wednesday.  Please use this time to look at assessment data and determine if your testing review should be modified for Thursday, Friday, or Monday.

INOW Grades

Reminder:  Grades should be entered in INOW weekly.  There should be a minimum of one graded assignment or assessment per week on the average for each subject.

Paraprofessionals Day

Last week we celebrated Paraprofessional's Day.  Our PTO provided our paras with lunch.  I want to reiterate the impact our paras have on our students every single day.  You play such a key role in the learning and growth of our students!  We are so appreciative of each of you!

Precepts to Be Posted Soon.
