Accelerated K-5 Curriculum Resources

The following individuals will receive Accelerated K-5 Training Thursday afternoon, facilitated by Dr. Berry & April Chamberlain.  They will meet in the Collaboration Room.  After the training, they will work on a plan to do turnaround training for teachers.

All Gen Ed classroom teachers should walk students to bus line and car line everyday, so they will not be included in other afternoon duties.

Assessments

• AlaKids Kindergarten should be completed by 10/16.
• Our Academic Coaches will continue administering aimswebPLUS assessments for K-3.
• Our K-3 virtual teachers will administer aimswebPLUS to their students.
• Performance Series Express: Math (K-5) & Literacy (2-5)

Educator Effectiveness 

Please make sure you have reviewed the 3 Educator Effectiveness documents and completed the receipt form in our District Schoology Course.  This should be completed by 9/30.  

More information will be provided this week on our next steps.

Wednesday Collaboration 

Teachers will collaborate on lessons, etc.  You may collaborate in a classroom or you may use the North Collaboration Room; location determined by your grade level.

Thursday Afternoon

Teachers on Accelerated K-5 Training Team will meet in the Collaboration Room.  Sped Teachers will meet in the Media Center.  Other teachers, either collaborate with team via Zoom or in a Classroom (6 feet apart) or work on what you need to (your team will decide).

Mandatory Training for Certified Staff

This is just a reminder to complete the required training in Schoology by October 1st.
