A Few Important Reminders
We are off to a great start. Our students are so happy to see their teachers and to be here at Paine! I asked one student yesterday if she was having a good day and her response was, "It is perfect!" Thank you for all you are doing! We went over so much in our faculty meeting on Monday that we just wanted to point out a few important reminders:
- When you are meeting with another teacher to collaborate you should be at least 6 feet apart. Two people should not be sitting at one table in the Collaboration Room. Remember, we have plenty of tables so each person should get their own.
- If you cannot be 6 feet apart, limit your time with that individual(s). This includes if you are meeting with students individually or in small groups. Try to limit this time to less than 15 minutes. I know this presents some challenges but I know if it can be done...you can do it!
- Remember, to not mix classes for any reason, including recess.
- Do not allow any sharing of materials.
Finally, we will need to have your classroom seating chart and lunchroom seating chart sometime on Monday. Sign up for our Paine Faculty and Staff Schoology course (see information in teacher handbook). There is an assignment for these seating charts and you can upload them there. We will have some templates in the Health and Safety Folder on Schoology if you need them for a starting point. Please try to keep the students who sit near one another in the classroom sitting near each other in the lunchroom. This will limit the number of close contacts in the event someone has any symptoms. If you have any questions please let us know.
We are on the KUF! You've got this!
