This week is inclusive schools week.  Please remember to check out a book about diversity/inclusion from the selection on display in the library, and use it as a read aloud this week.
We will issue the following challenges for students this week during morning announcements:

Monday  - Learn to say "Good Morning" in Spanish.
Tuesday - Sit by someone different (in your class) at lunch, and find out one thing they like to do.
Wednesday - Take "5" in your classroom to discuss a time when you might not have felt included.
Thursday - Write  a compliment about another student on a post-it note and give it to them.
Friday - Learn how to say "Good Morning" in sign language.

Six Flags Reading Incentive Over Christmas Break

Please encourage your students to participate in the Six Flags reading incentive over Christmas Break.  We want to make sure students are still reading over the break.  You may want to copy the reading logs on red or green paper.  When they are returned, please send to Kelly or Jenni.  The absolute deadline to turn these in is February 22, 2019.
