Family News

Please keep Officer Ron Bowen in your thoughts and prayers. He was not feeling well this morning and is now in the hospital. He has blockage and will need to have a bypass in the next day or two.  I talked with him tonight and he sounded as upbeat as he always is.

He is such a blessing to our school and our students!  We would love to do something special for him.  He loves getting cards and notes from our students.  Please consider having your students make "Get Well Cards" for Officer Bowen.  Please just tell our "littles" he is not feeling well (but you may tell older students he is having surgery).  I know they will wonder why he is not there for the last 3 weeks of school.  I will set up a box on the round table outside of my office for your to drop off the cards.  (Please make sure you review them first.) Please place the cards in the box by Thursday afternoon before you leave.  We will make a big basket arrangement of the cards.

Also, we will be getting some food gift cards for Officer Bowen and his wife, Susan, to help during his recovery.  If you would like to contribute please Venmo Shayna Swann (@ShaynaSwann) or you can email her to make other arrangements.  We will purchase the gift cards Thursday night.
